Reflections

Venice - the ideal subject for artists - character, colors, light, water... So attractive, yet so rich and complex. But when you look at some paintings of masters, like Sargent, you realize  how skillfully they simplified it. I can only keep trying, and of course, enjoying the process...

    Nice work, very accomplished good reflexes, it's hard to simplify when there are so many things to paint, but that gives it the experience and practice.

    Really difficult subject to paint, but the reflections are beautiful and these paintings are such lovely memories of Venice
