Two small sketches of the adorable potted flowers I got for my birthday. I love Cyclamen, and this particular one resembles more the wild variety, than the larger and more formal cultivated plants. I also took the opportunity to try the "Opera rose" W&N shade, which admittedly cannot be produced by any of my DaVinci colors.

love cyclamen too and Opera Rose. I finally bought some one ebay of all places and I Love it. Such a pure bright pink and it fits your paintings perfectly, especially the second one with the little bud over that glorious leaf. peace n abundance, CheyAnne
Two beautiful works with a slight preference for the second one , the leaves and the fusions are awesome . And HAPPY BIRTHDAY dear Blaga, hope you are being celebrated well !
