Sea and sand, watercolor on Arches CP 140 lb, 38 x 28 cm |
You must have guessed by my subject that it is snowing again... Everyone is tired of complaining about the weather and now it is a subject of constant jokes. "Marry Christmas!" has replaced "Good Morning!". We haven't seen the ground for four months now. I know that under the snow cover, there are snowdrops. Maybe we'll see them in April. In the mean time, this sunny painting is going on my wall.

As beautiful as snow can be 4 months of seeing only snow must be truly a pain ! No wonder you dream yourself far away :-) Love both seascapes and specially the first one with the beautiful and vivid colors.
ReplyDeleteThe dream makes life beautiful, and painters, compared to non-painters, are able to obtain beautiful works, such these sea-scapes full of charm, while dreaming!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jane and Rita, for your nice comments! I must have become annoying with my complaining about the weather all the time. But I'm glad that finally I got the sea colors as i wanted them...
ReplyDeleteMuy hermosas las dos acuarelas, con tonos muy diferentes, tambien espero que pronto llegue la cálida primavera. Saludos!!!
ReplyDeleteEven though we don't get snow in California I too was tired of the winter blahs! What better way to escape than get out the warm colors and paint a lovely scene. Nice work Blaga.
ReplyDeleteStill snowing??? I'll try to blow some spring your way, Blaga. The beach paintings are beautiful, esp. the bright colours of the first one.
ReplyDeleteCette année nous n avons pas eu de Neige!j aurai bien aimé un tout petit peu pour la beauté des paysages mais je comprends ton aspiration à un peu de couleurs . Ces deux bords de mer sont pleins de charme
ReplyDeleteHi, Blaga, creativity and imagination gives us wings!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Sadami
