This is another attempt at the same view I tried back in November. I wasn't happy with the result back then and I am not satisfied now too. While there is some improvement, it is not the big change I expected to achieve. I have the feeling that I subconsciously try to stick to the same techniques and brushstrokes I have already done before. Maybe I should try a different mountain scene.

i think this is a great start, but it feels like four different paintings. Are you using the same colors throughout. a limited palette in other words. the red here is so domineering and overpowering. Maybe bring the back mountain into the same value range. Just some thoughts and hope I didn't step on your toes. But your painting really has great personality

Thank you, CheyAnne, this is exactly the kind of feedback I need! I agree about the values and colors. The strong red was a dosage mistake, which I realized while still in process. Doing every layer of the mauntains individually makes it look like a set of two-dimensional layers, and also makes it hard to match the previously used color mix. Thank you again for your comments and advice!
Olá eu adorei as suas aquarelas, são perfeitas, as paisagens nos faz sonhar com mundos melhores. Amei. Bom fim de semana. Venha me conhecer também, será muito bem vinda.
