This view is imaginary, but the situation it depicts is real. It snowed all day today. The day was gloomy and the roads were completely congested. In the morning the snow accumulation was less that 5 cm, yet I heard on the radio that there was one traffic accident happening every minute, in and around the city. One would think that Canadians would be expert drivers in winter conditions, but the truth is that even two drops of rain stall the traffic in the Greater Toronto Area.
It is still March and snowfalls are still normal. Hopefully we won't get much of the white stuff in April...

I always though Canadiens were real experts in the snow...another myth going down the drain !! I like the painting a lot, I would say "cool"!
Beautiful painting Blaga, but I hope spring will come for you soon!
Thank you, Jane and Judy! I am determined not to get upset with the weather until April :)
I think that the terrible driving is specific to Toronto. The city has very limited public transport, so everyone drives. At the same time about a third of the population are first-generation immigrants and many have never driven before (I was in this group) or never seen snow, or both. My impression is that driving in the rest of the country is quite decent.
I only know the sun of your great country to have visited it in the summer twice. The snow is unusual here and it's a mess on roads every time.
Your watercolor reflects the snow, I hope you will paint the return of spring soon.
Snow, snow go away, come again on Christmas day!
Great landscape, also like the flowers on the previous post. Ah to orange!
I am sure that spring will come eventually, Lydie, especially now after Cathy's spell! :)
Bellissimo, mi piacciono molto gli acquarelli con la neve. Noi ormai siamo in primavera e per la neve dobbiamo aspettare il prossimo inverno.
Congratulazioni. Elvi
