Hagia Sophia

Hagia Sophia, Arches 38 x 28 cm

I got a little lost in all the architectural details above.

And another attempt at the Istanbul skyline, this time with reflections in the water, that make it look like a smooth lake. But I wanted to see how it looks this way...

Hello Blaga:) The architectical details in the first one are amazing! You've used the perfect colors for such a building. Beautiful! What a harmony there is in the second one. Love the reflections. Very very nice Blaga!

I like this version, smoother and more poetry of the lake.
The edifice is beautifully painted.

Yes, Rita, it's a nice way to re-live my trip. Thank you!

Judy and Renate, I thought the basilica turned out a little stiff, but i find that unless i paint something a number of times, I can't drop off the details get it loose. Thank you, for your comments!

Thank you, Cathy! Glad you like it!

Thank you, Jane, Tito and Lydie! I'm glad you like that second version of the skyline. I was worried that it's a bit made-up, but... isn't that the idea :)
