My Muse, had disappeared somewhere lately, scared by the stress and frustrations at work, I guess. I tried to find her, by revisiting this subject, which I did before in pastel. The bottom one follows the pastel version quite closely, but I made a mess of the background. The top one was done without any drawing or expectations and I think I like it better.
Have a lovely weekend, everyone!

i like them both but yes I think the top one has the edge - great movement in both ! Great subject too!
Dear Blaga so directly painted watercolor version is superb! But would not exist without the other! Paint and draw the subject, puts in the hands ability to paint , after, without drawing and without hesitation!Lovely both!!!
I think they are both fabulous, Blaga! There are edges in the second one I like very much. But the first one is beautiful, the colors, the movement...!
Thank you, Sharon!
Thank you, Rita! You are right, I did several sketches and trials before the ones I published, and each of them thought me something. The hands "remember" and each next attempt goes easier and smoother.
Thank you, Judy! I'm glad you liked them and I much appreciate your leaving a comment. Although, I would not feel offended in the least if you truly take a break :)
Hello Blaga:) Wow this is so stunning. To get such a movement in a painting! That first one is so beautiful because of the beautiful colors that go in that movement. Great art Blaga!
Ciao Blaga,
Bises !
Dear Blaga,
Please be kind to yourself. We sometimes have rainy days. We all need some holidays.
Kind regards, Sadami
