Tuscan Landscapes

Tuscan Landscape 1, watercolor 40 x 30 cm
It has been a busy summer. I have been split between a large project at work, an out of control veggie garden in my yard and a great summer weather for outdoors activities. I finally found some time to go through the photos from my Tuscan vacation in May and found plenty that just have to be painted. Hopefully, the inspiration doesn't leave me again for months.

Thank you, Judy! Glad to be back, I had forgotten what pleasure it is to paint.
As for the misty views, it turned out that these are a common sight in Tuscany, as long as you get up really early. Mist forms close to the ground and only the tops of the hills remain visible as an eerie film set.

Hi Sadami! Thank you for your comment. I haven't visited your blog for a long time and I expect tons of new paintings, sketches and discussions. I'll do that when I have some time to really enjoy it.

Hola Blaga: Unas pinturas tenues, delicadas y realizadas con su habitual maestría que reflejan la hermosura de la Toscana. Felicitaciones y un abrazo!!

Thank you, Jane, you must have accumulated inspiration too :)

Thank you, Catharina, I was trying to depict that endless series of rolling hills coming after after another. I'm glad you can see it.

Thank you, Mercedes, Tuscany is really so beautiful
