I felt like painting seascapes today, so I picked two old vacation photos. I used only three colors for both - alizarin crimson, prussian blue and indian yellow. They seem like a great trio for landscapes.
Thank you, Carlos and Jane, so kind of you to leave a comment! I find that the limited palette (surprisingly) makes painting faster and at this stage lets me learn a lot about colors.
These are both lovely watercolours Blaga. Excellent washes and dry brush work, a skillful use of mixing from a limited palette and you have a style developing already - after two years that's very impressive :)
These are fabulous. And that too from such a limited palette !!!
