Lynn, I'm so flattered by your comment :) I'm really glad you like these paintings.
Thank you, Rita! The sea is really so inspiring!
Thank you, Isabelle! I actually quite struggled with these particular figures. They were gaining weight with every attempt to fix them. But in the end somehow they came to life :)
Judy, Tito, Jane, Lucia, thank you all for your really nice comments! The colors of the sea were truly fascinating, and I did not exaggerate them at all in the two paintings. And i still want to paint these blue and green washes...
Ciao Blaga, we are waiting for spring and you are already in summer! I need sun and see and your paint give me the emotion of warm and water. Beatiful paint for the atmosphere and colours! Ciao, abbracci, Floriana
Fantastic allll of your paintings. i have been away for awhile the street scenes are fabulous the birds and landscapes. You have been very productive making beautiful paintings.
Those sea colors are stunning. Is it pthalo blue? They are lovely and transparent and you have captured the white caps on the waves in such a natural way. Jean
Lydie, Floriana, Cathy, Pierre, Elvi, Annilux, Jean, thank you all for your comments! Jean, the blue I used is Prussian blue, it is similar in shade to phtalo, but has even deeper dark tones.

I like very much the way you can use the paper when creating the white spots on the water. Wish I could do that too <3
