More poppies

Poppies 3, watercolor, 22 x 43 cm
Poppies 4, watercolor, 12 x 43 cm
A couple of more attempts, but instead of the transparent colors from the previous post, I used cadmium red and yellow here. I like the spontanaety of the previous two much better

Amazing how a format change, a change of color in the background ... and almost the same subject succeeds completely different.

In our life watercolor is so precious because who paints in watercolor never gets bored!
Have nice weekend, dear Blaga!

Well hello Blaga:) Long time ago I was on your blog. I'm happy to be back again. A lot of beautiful paintings you made. I was so surprised. But ther were more beautiful paintings as the memories of Madrid, the clay pot and the little Robin. For this post I'm very fond of the left poppies. You are doing so well. Have a nice week. Hugs!!xx
