Roofs and umbrellas

Red Roofs, watercolor 36 x 26 cm
Cafe by the Harbor, watercolor 36 x 26 cm
A couple more scenes inspired by views from Dubrovnik. It's been nice to paint sunny scenes while the first snow is falling outside.

Snow so soon? Anyway love the roof tops and buildings, nightmare angles, but successfully painted

Luckily, the snow didn't stay, Polly, either way, I've decided to stay in denial about the approaching winter until at least mid-December.
Yup, straight lines and angles are not my favorite. i had to paint the roofs twice, to get these geometric shapes fast enough to keep the color fresh.

Two amazing works, really love the light in the second one , and admire how perfectly you did all the different perspectives in the first one !

Dear Blaga, thank you for sharing the beautiful paintings of landscapes. The work tells me your personality well. You're so lovely and sensitive. I feel like trying landscapes in a different way. Keep up. If you do not like winter, come over Sydney! I'm enjoying swimming at a beach!! Cheers, Sadami

Grandmothers have little time to blogging ... but be grandmother always lasts too little here!
Congratulations on the beautiful landscapes full of light, which contrasts with the thought of snow. Have a great week, dear Blaga!
