Small bouquet

I cannot stop painting flowers. But very few are blooming in my yard at this time, so I used a photo from last fall.

Blaga, it's gorgeous! What i like the most is the way you painted the vessel - reflections of light and shadows. And the full composition seems completed, well done :)

Love the gentle and delicate colors of the table cloth and the contrasting brightness of the vase. Beautiful.

Dear Blaga, impresses me more and the trend of blooms.
There are years that are the same fields of red poppies so that you do not see the grass. Years not seen .. poppies.
The same cherry blossoms last year gave big and thick this year did not recognize.
I also use the photos of the "top vintages" of flowers.
Your flowers are lovely and colorful,as new blossomed!

The delicacy with which the tablecloth is painted, allows the flowers to take all their importance. The potty all round is superb and clearly highlighted.

Thank you, Egle! The vase has the full range of values, from almost black to white, and this seems to give it more volume. i have been realising lately the importance of strong values contrast.

Thank you, Asit, I am so glad that you like it!

Yes, reds, Judy :) I wish I had left more yellow in the red flower, like you did with the red pepper though. Thank you!

Thank you, Rita! I fully agree with you about the value of photographs as reference and inspiration.
