Horse jumping

watercolor, 32 x 23 cm

watercolor, 40 x 30 cm

This will be my last attempt at portraying Olympic sporting events. I have been a little intimidated to try to paint horses, as I have much respect for these animals, but know very little about them. That's why I left this subject for last. I know I didn't do justice to this magnificent animal with my pictures, so, Horses, I promise to make it up to you, with time...

Oh Blaga I do love it when a post of yours pops up on my side bar as I know I won't be disappointed! Have really enjoyed your Olympic series and these horses are no exception - full of movement and life again - I especially like the 2nd one!

Well done Blaga! The horses could be non perfect, but to me, these two watercolors seem really beautiful with nice colors and movement. Ciao!

Hello Blaga:) I think the horses will be very satisfied if they see your paintings. Incredible piece of art. The way you paint the movement is brilliant. Love it Blaga!

I very much appreciate your comments and encouragement through my attempts with depicting movement. I think I learned much, and most importantly, I had much fun in the process :)
